The Rev. Dr. Charles D. Bang
Pastor Bang came to Holy Trinity in 1983 after having served congregations in New York, California, and Massachusetts. Called to the position of Senior Pastor upon the retirement of Dr. Matthew Winters, Pastor Bang became only the fifth senior pastor in the 125 year history of Holy Trinity Church.
He is married to Deborah Edds, and they have two children, Kathryn and Sarah. Pastor and Mrs. Bang reside in the City of Buffalo on Windsor Avneue. Pastor Bang attended Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary and the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California.

The Rev. Eric Olsen
Pastor Olsen, installed on Reformation Sunday 2007 comes to Holy Trinity after serving congregations in New York City and Long Island. A graduate of SUNY Albany, he studied at Kansai Gaidai University in Japan and later worked as a secretary for a member of Japan’s National legislature before starting and managing several successful transportation related companies in New York. A dedicated lay leader at Zion Lutheran (S.I., N.Y.) he discerned the call to word and sacrament ministry at age 30, becoming the 25th member of Zion to be called to the office of pastor. He studied at both The Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia and The General Theological Seminary in NYC and served as an intern at the Lutheran Office for World Community at the United Nations. He served as chaplain to Rescue 5, FDNY immediately following 9/11/2001, and is an Honorary Chaplain of The New Hyde Park Fire Department.
His wife Lisa, sons Luke and Lars, and boxers Gustav and Grete reside in the City of Buffalo on Huntington Ave.
